Melanie is a facilities management professional with 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. She currently oversees BGL’s Workspace Project Management team, bringing a strategic approach to new and ongoing projects. She has diverse knowledge in relocation management, facilities management, and workspace programming for corporate, retail, institutional, data center and government work environments. Her prior roles include 17 years in facilities management at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., Denver, CO, and 8 years in facilities and project management at Electronic Data Systems, Dallas, TX.
Aware of working with different styles, Melanie likes to find the unique strengths of each team member and apply their talents to achieve a common goal. “Problem solving in a collaborative and mutually respectful way inspires and energizes me.”
Melanie’s education includes studies in business at McNeese State University. She completed Building Operation Management Institute’s certification programs in facilities management and property administration. Disciplined in ongoing education, she is pursuing an MCR (Masters Corporate Real Estate) designation with CoreNet.
